Not just because of the food and drink (even though that’s certainly a plus), but it’s festive and colorful! Make sure to have the perfect accessories for the big day!

The holiday season is filled with gift giving and craft making. This is my busiest season making clay ornaments and pins for friends and family as Christmas gifts. What better gift to give teachers, neighbors, friends and family than a handmade ornament or piece of jewelry? Here is a selection of items I’m making this holiday season:
Steampunk is a somewhat new style of … well, pretty much anything, from clothing to art, from literature to lifestyles. (Hugo was a very steampunkish movie.) It’s an imaginative combination of the Victorian era and science-fiction. Its made up of gears, clock works, vintage materials, metallic items, lace and fantasy, whimsy and imagination. Steampunk is adventure and inventions, romantic and unique, imaginative and clever. These are a couple of my Steampunk jewelry items.
This Gentleman is a pin handmade with polymer clay of a Victorian man with mustache, monocle, ascot and top hat. Very debonaire.
This pendant is a montage of gears, wires and polymer clay and dangles from a bronze link chain.
