Before you know it, St. Patrick’s Day will be here! While it might not be one of the most celebrated holidays, I find it to be one of the most fun! Not just because of the food and drink (even though that’s certainly a plus), but it’s festive and colorful! Make sure to have the perfect accessories for the big day!

Things on my holiday list…

  • One thing I would love this holiday season is a cruise! Anywhere warm would be nice, but a reunion cruise with my sister and cousins to Bermuda would be great. It’s been nearly 40 years since we all went together on a cruise so I think it’s high time we got back on that boat! But in the meantime…

THANKSGIVING

Lady Harvest
Lady Harvest

Thanksgiving. The Holiday to be grateful for everything, especially the bounty of great food that Farmers around the world work very hard to provide. Whether they plant and grow and harvest food or milk the cows or tend to the animals, they work every day and very long hours.  These men and women go under appreciated, over looked and rarely thanked. I just want to remember them on this day of gratitude. God Bless the Farmers.

Day of the Dead November 1-3

Day of the Dead Skull
Day of the Dead Skull

Day of the Dead, also known as All Saints’ Day, is a three-day Mexican holiday to honor and celebrate loved ones who have died. It is also celebrated in many parts of the world, which directs honor and reverence towards one’s ancestors. Day of the Dead art is symbolized with smiling skulls in kaleidoscope colors,  psychedelic decorations and detailed designs. Beautifully adorned skulls are a tradition for the festive celebration and have become well recognized around the world.

These are a few that I have designed with polymer clay.
