This set of Acrylics is an excellent set for any artist to have on hand. I don’t paint as much as I used to in college, but getting this set has given me a newfound love for it. Getting in the spirit of fall approaching, I painted a Still Life of gourds and squash. The color selection, as you can see, is awesome and the paint is nice and smooth to work with.

For all you Math and or Science enthusiasts lets remember March 14th, Pi Day. How do you celebrate this auspicious non holiday? What’s you favorite kind of Pie? Pi is actually 3.1415926535897932384626433832795028841971693 … which is a “mathematical constant that is the ratio of a circle’s circumference to its diameter”. Yeah. Well anything is a great excuse to eat more Pie. My favorite Pie is Key Lime Pie. I’ve made some pins to commemorate the spirit of Pi.
PI Day Pie Pin
Thanksgiving. The Holiday to be grateful for everything, especially the bounty of great food that Farmers around the world work very hard to provide. Whether they plant and grow and harvest food or milk the cows or tend to the animals, they work every day and very long hours. These men and women go under appreciated, over looked and rarely thanked. I just want to remember them on this day of gratitude. God Bless the Farmers.

Pinwheel, a favorite summer toy.
Summer is a time of celebration, fun and memories. These three pins handcrafted with polymer clay represent summers past and are unique pieces of wearable art. The sizzling firecracker celebrates the opening of summer, the 4th of July. The Pinwheel is an old but memorable summer toy enjoyed by many children over the generations. The sailboat is always a soothing site gliding out on the smooth lake or ocean.
Creative ideas can come from anywhere, such as summer memories.
